قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik; and Ishaq told us: Malik informed us, from Sumayy, freedman of Abu Bakr - meaning ibn Abd al-Rahman - from Abu Salih al-Samman, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When the imam says, 'God hears whoever praises Him,' then say, 'O God, our Lord, to You belongs praise,' for whoever's saying coincides with the saying of the angels will have his previous sins forgiven."
