حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرَاهِيجَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ مَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الْأَسْوَدَانِ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Dawud ibn Farahij, who said: I heard Abu Hurairah say: "We had no food in the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, except the two black things: dates and water."
