وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَّتْ النَّارُ وَالْجَنَّةُ فَقَالَتْ النَّارُ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ وَقَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِلنَّارِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أَنْتَقِمُ بِكِ مِمَّنْ شِئْتُ وَقَالَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ شِئْتُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
And with his chain of transmission, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Fire and Paradise argued with each other. The Fire said, 'The tyrants and the arrogant enter me,' and Paradise said, 'The weak and the poor enter me.' So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said to the Fire, 'You are My punishment, by which I take vengeance upon whomever I wish,' and He said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy, by which I show mercy to whomever I wish.'"
