Waki' told us: Hisham ibn Urwah told us, from Wahb ibn Kaysan, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata', from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was at a funeral, and Umar saw a woman [weeping] and shouted at her, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Leave her be, O Umar, for the eye sheds tears, the soul is afflicted, and the bereavement is recent."
