Waki' told us, he said: Usamah ibn Zayd told us, from Ba'jah ibn Abdullah al-Juhani, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There will surely come upon the people a time when the best of people will be a man who takes hold of the rein of his horse in the path of Allah; whenever he hears a call to arms he mounts it and seeks death wherever it may be found, and a man in one of these mountain passes who establishes prayer, gives zakat, and leaves people alone except for good."
