حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُنْزَعُ الرَّحْمَةُ إِلَّا مِنْ شَقِيٍّ.

Ammar ibn Muhammad - who is the nephew of Sufyan al-Thawri - narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abu Uthman, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Mercy is not removed except from a wretched person."
