حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ طَوْقٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ طَوْقٌ مِنْ نَارٍ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ قَالَتْ قُرْطَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ قُرْطَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ عَلَيْهَا سِوَارٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَرَمَتْ بِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا لَمْ تَزَّيَّنْ لِزَوْجِهَا صَلِفَتْ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ مَا يَمْنَعُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَصْنَعُ قُرْطَيْنِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ثُمَّ تُصَفِّرُهُمَا بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Asbat narrated to us, who said: Mutarrif narrated to us, from Abu al-Jahm, from Abu Zaid, from Abu Hurairah, who said: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him) when a woman came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, a necklace of gold?" He said: "A necklace of fire." She said: "O Messenger of Allah, two bracelets of gold?" He said: "Two bracelets of fire." She said: "Two earrings of gold?" He said: "Two earrings of fire." She had a gold bracelet on, so she threw it away. Then she said: "O Messenger of Allah, if one of us does not adorn herself for her husband, she becomes unattractive to him." He said: "What prevents one of you from making two earrings of silver and then dyeing them with saffron?"
