حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِصَدَقَةٍ مِنْ كَسْبٍ طَيِّبٍ وَلَا يَصْعَدُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ إِلَّا طَيِّبٌ إِلَّا كَأَنَّمَا يَضَعُهَا فِي كَفِّ الرَّحْمَنِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَيُرَبِّيهَا كَمَا يُرَبِّي الرَّجُلُ فَلُوَّهُ أَوْ فَصِيلَهُ حَتَّى إِنَّ التَّمْرَةَ لَتَعُودُ مِثْلَ الْجَبَلِ الْعَظِيمِ.

Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Ajlan, who said: Sa'id ibn Yasar narrated to me, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "No Muslim gives charity from good and lawful earnings - and nothing ascends to heaven except what is good and lawful - except that it is as if he places it in the palm of the Most Merciful, the Mighty and Sublime, and He nurtures it as one of you nurtures his foal or young camel, until a single date becomes like a great mountain."
