Ghassan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should say 'my slave' or 'my slave-girl,' nor should the owned person say 'my lord' or 'my lady.' Let the owner say 'my young man' and 'my young woman,' and let the owned person say 'my master' and 'my mistress,' for they are the owned ones and the Lord is Allah the Almighty."
