Affan narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The servant says 'My wealth, my wealth,' but his wealth is only three things: what he ate and consumed, what he wore and wore out, or what he gave and stored (for the Hereafter). Whatever is beyond that is going away and he leaves it for others."
