'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Muhazzim informed us, from Abu Hurayrah who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a Hajj or 'Umrah when we encountered a swarm of locusts. We began striking them with our whips and sticks, killing them. Then we felt uneasy and said: "What have we done while we are in a state of ihram?" So we asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: "There is no harm; it is game of the sea."
