حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا طِيَرَةَ وَخَيْرُهَا الْفَأْلُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ يَسْمَعُهَا أَحَدُكُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There is no superstitious belief (in omens), and the best of it is the good omen (fa'l)." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the good omen?" He said: "A good word that one of you hears."
