حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَتَبِعَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ انْظُرْ مَا تُحَدِّثُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَإِنَّك تُكْثِرُ الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ فَذَهَبَ بِهِ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَصَدَّقَتْ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاللَّهِ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا كَانَ يَشْغَلُنِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّفْقُ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ مَا كَانَ يُهِمُّنِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا كَلِمَةً يُعَلِّمُنِيهَا أَوْ لُقْمَةً يَلْقُمُنِيهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "Whoever prays over a funeral, he will have one qirat (of reward). Whoever prays over it and follows it (to the burial), he will have two qirats." 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said to him: Be careful what you narrate, O Abu Hurayrah, for you narrate a great deal from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Abu Hurayrah took his hand and went with him to 'A'ishah, who confirmed Abu Hurayrah's report. Abu Hurayrah said: By Allah, O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, nothing used to distract me from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) - not bargaining in the markets. All that mattered to me from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was a word he would teach me or a morsel he would feed me.
