حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا فَوْقِي بِرَعْدٍ وَصَوَاعِقَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُطُونُهُمْ كَالْبُيُوتِ فِيهَا الْحَيَّاتُ تُرَى مِنْ خَارِجِ بُطُونِهِمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ أَكَلَةُ الرِّبَا فَلَمَّا نَزَلْتُ وَانْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِذَا أَنَا بِرَهْجٍ وَدُخَانٍ وَأَصْوَاتٍ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قَالَ الشَّيَاطِينُ يَحْرِفُونَ عَلَى أَعْيُنِ بَنِي آدَمَ أَنْ لَا يَتَفَكَّرُوا فِي مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَرَأَتْ الْعَجَائِبَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I reached the seventh heaven and looked, and there I was with thunder and lightning above me. Then I came upon people whose bellies were like houses with snakes inside them, visible from outside their bellies. I said: Who are these? He said: These are those who consumed usury. When I descended to the lowest heaven, there was dust and smoke and voices. I said: Who are these? He said: Devils who distort the sight of the children of Adam so they do not reflect on the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Were it not for that, they would have seen wonders.'
