حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ أَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمْ عُبِّيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَفَخْرَهَا بِالْآبَاءِ مُؤْمِنٌ تَقِيٌّ وَفَاجِرٌ شَقِيٌّ وَالنَّاسُ بَنُو آدَمَ وَآدَمُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ فَخْرَهُمْ بِرِجَالٍ أَوْ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ عِدَّتِهِمْ مِنْ الْجِعْلَانِ الَّتِي تَدْفَعُ بِأَنْفِهَا النَّتَنَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Indeed, Allah the Almighty has removed from you the arrogance of the pre-Islamic era and its boasting about ancestors. One is either a pious believer or a wretched sinner. People are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust. People must stop boasting about their ancestors, or they will be more insignificant to Allah than the dung beetles that push filth with their noses.'
