حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا بِتَمَرَاتٍ فَقُلْتُ ادْعُ اللَّهَ لِي فِيهِنَّ بِالْبَرَكَةِ قَالَ فَصَفَّهُنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا فَقَالَ لِي اجْعَلْهُنَّ فِي مِزْوَدٍ وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ وَلَا تَنْثُرْهُ قَالَ فَحَمَلْتُ مِنْهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَسْقًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَنَأْكُلُ وَنُطْعِمُ وَكَانَ لَا يُفَارِقُ حَقْوِي فَلَمَّا قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْ حَقْوِي فَسَقَطَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah said: I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) one day with some dates and said: "Pray to Allah for blessing in them." He lined them up before him, then supplicated and said to me: "Put them in a bag, put your hand in and take from it, and do not scatter them." He said: I carried from it such and such wasqs (loads) in the path of Allah, and we ate from it and fed others. It never left my waist, but when Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed, it fell from my waist and dropped.
