حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسَاجِدِ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَى مَنَازِلِهِمْ جَاءَ فُلَانٌ مِنْ سَاعَةِ كَذَا جَاءَ فُلَانٌ مِنْ سَاعَةِ كَذَا جَاءَ فُلَانٌ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ جَاءَ فُلَانٌ فَأَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْجُمُعَةَ إِذَا لَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْخُطْبَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "On Friday, the angels stand at the doors of the mosques recording the people according to their order of arrival: 'So-and-so came at such-and-such hour, so-and-so came at such-and-such hour, so-and-so came while the imam was giving the sermon, so-and-so came and caught the prayer but missed the Friday sermon' - when he did not catch the sermon."
