حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ رَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ تَوَضَّأُ إِلَى جَنْبِ قَصْرٍ فَقُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ قَالُوا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَذَكَرْتُ غَيْرَتَكَ فَوَلَّيْتُ مُدْبِرًا وَعُمَرُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ حِينَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَهُ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ فَبَكَى عُمَرُ حِينَ سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَعَلَيْكَ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ أَغَارُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "While I was sleeping, I saw myself in Paradise, and there was a woman performing ablution beside a palace. I said: 'Whose palace is this?' They said: 'It belongs to Umar ibn al-Khattab.' Then I remembered your jealousy, so I turned away." And Umar (may Allah have mercy on him), when the Messenger of Allah said that, was sitting with him among the people. Umar wept when he heard that from the Messenger of Allah and said: "Would I be jealous of you, O Messenger of Allah? May my father be sacrificed for you!"
