حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ لَا يَرْجُو أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ فَمَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَبْلُغُهُمْ هَذَا عَنْ نَبِيِّهِمْ فَيَجْعَلُونَ حَرِيرًا فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ وَفِي بُيُوتِهِمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Only one who wears silk in this world is one who has no hope of wearing it in the Hereafter. Only one who has no share of good wears silk." Al-Hasan said: "What is the matter with people who hear this from their Prophet and yet they put silk in their clothes and in their houses?"
