حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ ثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمَمْلُوكَ لَيُحَاسَبُ بِصَلَاتِهِ فَإِنْ نَقَصَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا قِيلَ لَهُ نَقَصْتَ مِنْهَا فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ سَلَّطْتَ عَلَيَّ مَلِيكًا شَغَلَنِي عَنْ صَلَاتِي فَيَقُولُ قَدْ رَأَيْتُكَ تَسْرِقُ مِنْ مَالِهِ لِنَفْسِكَ فَهَلَّا سَرَقْتَ لِنَفْسِكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ أَوْ عَمَلِهِ قَالَ فَيَتَّخِذُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْحُجَّةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned that the owned servant will be held accountable for his prayer. If he falls short in anything of it, it will be said to him: 'You fell short in it.' He will say: 'My Lord, You placed a master over me who kept me occupied from my prayer.' He will say: 'I saw you stealing from his wealth for yourself; why then did you not steal from your deeds for yourself?' Thus Allah will establish the proof against him.
