حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى يَعْنِي بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي دَارَ قَوْمٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَدُونَهُمْ دَارٌ قَالَ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ تَأْتِي دَارَ فُلَانٍ وَلَا تَأْتِي دَارَنَا قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَنَّ فِي دَارِكُمْ كَلْبًا قَالُوا فَإِنَّ فِي دَارِهِمْ سِنَّوْرًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ السِّنَّوْرَ سَبُعٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to visit the house of a certain group of the Ansar, passing by another house. This grieved the people of that house, and they said: "O Messenger of Allah, glory be to Allah! You visit the house of so-and-so but do not visit ours." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Because there is a dog in your house." They said: "But there is a cat in their house." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The cat is a predatory animal."
