حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سِيرِينَ قَالَ ثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُنَجِّيهِ مِنْ النَّارِ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي رَبِّي بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ وَهْبٌ يَقْبِضُهَا وَيَبْسُطُهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "None of you will be admitted to Paradise by his deeds alone, nor will they save him from the Fire." They said: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Not even I, unless Allah envelops me in mercy from Him." And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gestured with his hand like this - and Wahb indicated clenching and opening it.
