حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَقَالَ لَنَا وَاللَّهِ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مُؤْمِنًا يَسْمَعُ بِي وَلَا يَرَانِي إِلَّا أَحَبَّنِي قُلْتُ وَمَا عِلْمُكَ بِذَلِكَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ أُمِّي كَانَتْ امْرَأَةً مُشْرِكَةً وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَدْعُوهَا إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَانَتْ تَأْبَى عَلَيَّ فَدَعَوْتُهَا يَوْمًا فَأَسْمَعَتْنِي فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَكْرَهُ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَدْعُو أُمِّي إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَانَتْ تَأْبَى عَلَيَّ وَإِنِّي دَعَوْتُهَا الْيَوْمَ فَأَسْمَعَتْنِي فِيكَ مَا أَكْرَهُ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَهْدِيَ أُمَّ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ أُمَّ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَخَرَجْتُ أَعْدُو أُبَشِّرُهَا بِدُعَاءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُ الْبَابَ إِذَا هُوَ مُجَافٍ وَسَمِعْتُ خَضْخَضَةَ الْمَاءِ وَسَمِعْتُ خَشْفَ رِجْلٍ يَعْنِي وَقْعَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَمَا أَنْتَ ثُمَّ فَتَحَتْ الْبَابَ وَقَدْ لَبِسَتْ دِرْعَهَا وَعَجِلَتْ عَنْ خِمَارِهَا فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْكِي مِنْ الْفَرَحِ كَمَا بَكَيْتُ مِنْ الْحُزْنِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَبْشِرْ فَقَدْ اسْتَجَابَ اللَّهُ دُعَاءَكَ وَقَدْ هَدَى أُمَّ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُحَبِّبَنِي أَنَا وَأُمِّي إِلَى عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيُحَبِّبُهُمْ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ عُبَيْدَكَ هَذَا وَأُمَّهُ إِلَى عِبَادِكَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَحَبِّبْهُمْ إِلَيْهِمَا فَمَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مُؤْمِنًا يَسْمَعُ بِي وَلَا يَرَانِي أَوْ يَرَى أُمِّي إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُحِبُّنِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah said to us: 'By Allah, no believing person whom Allah has created hears of me or sees me except that he loves me.' I said: 'How do you know that, O Abu Hurayrah?' He said: 'My mother was a polytheist woman, and I used to invite her to Islam, but she refused. One day I invited her and she said things about the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that I disliked. I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) crying and said: O Messenger of Allah, I used to invite my mother to Islam and she refused. Today I invited her and she said things about you that I disliked. Pray to Allah to guide the mother of Abu Hurayrah. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: O Allah, guide the mother of Abu Hurayrah. I rushed to give her the glad tidings of the Prophet's supplication. When I reached the door, it was closed. I heard the splashing of water and the sound of footsteps. She said: O Abu Hurayrah, stay where you are. Then she opened the door, having put on her garment but hurried before her head-covering. She said: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. I returned to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) crying from joy as I had cried from sorrow. I said: O Messenger of Allah, rejoice! Allah has answered your supplication and guided the mother of Abu Hurayrah. I said: O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me and my mother beloved to His believing servants, and make them beloved to us. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: O Allah, make this little servant of Yours and his mother beloved to Your believing servants, and make them beloved to them. So no believing person whom Allah created hears of me or sees me or sees my mother except that he loves me.'
