وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَحَاجَّتْ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتْ النَّارُ أُوثِرْتُ بِالْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ وَالْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ وَقَالَتْ الْجَنَّةُ فَمَا لِي لَا يَدْخُلُنِي إِلَّا ضُعَفَاءُ النَّاسِ سَفَلَتُهُمْ وَغِرَّتُهُمْ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ رَحْمَةٌ أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمَا مِلْؤُهَا فَأَمَّا النَّارُ فَلَا تَمْتَلِئُ حَتَّى يَضَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ رِجْلَهُ فَتَقُولُ قَطْ قَطْ قَطْ أَيْ حَسْبِي فَهُنَالِكَ تَمْتَلِئُ وَيُزْوَى بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ أَحَدًا وَأَمَّا الْجَنَّةُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُنْشِئُ لَهَا خَلْقًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Paradise and Hellfire argued. The Fire said: I have been favored with the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: What is the matter with me that only the weak, the lowly, and the simple-minded enter me? Allah the Almighty said to Paradise: You are My mercy; through you I show mercy to whomever I will among My servants. And He said to the Fire: You are My punishment; through you I punish whomever I will among My servants. Each of you shall have its fill. As for the Fire, it will not be full until Allah the Almighty places His Foot upon it, and it will say: Enough, enough, enough — meaning: that is sufficient for me. Then it will be full and its parts will be pressed together. Allah does not wrong any of His creation. As for Paradise, Allah will create new creation for it.'
