وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُفِّفَتْ عَلَى دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام الْقِرَاءَةُ وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِدَابَّتِهِ فَتُسْرَجُ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُسْرَجَ دَابَّتُهُ وَكَانَ لَا يَأْكُلُ إِلَّا مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The recitation was made light for Dawud (David), peace be upon him. He would order his mount to be saddled, and he would finish reciting the Scripture before his mount was saddled. And he would only eat from the work of his own hands.'
