حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ شَهِدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ يَعْنِي لِرَجُلٍ يَدَّعِي الْإِسْلَامَ هَذَا مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَلَمَّا حَضَرْنَا الْقِتَالَ قَاتَلَ الرَّجُلُ قِتَالًا شَدِيدًا فَأَصَابَتْهُ جِرَاحَةٌ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي قُلْتَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَإِنَّهُ قَاتَلَ الْيَوْمَ قِتَالًا شَدِيدًا وَقَدْ مَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّارِ فَكَادَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَرْتَابَ فَبَيْنَمَا هُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ إِذْ قِيلَ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَمُتْ وَلَكِنْ بِهِ جِرَاحٌ شَدِيدٌ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ لَمْ يَصْبِرْ عَلَى الْجِرَاحِ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَأُخْبِرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ أَنَّهُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ شَهِدْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ مِمَّنْ مَعَهُ يُذْعِنُ بِالْإِسْلَامِ إِنَّ هَذَا مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَاشْتَدَّ عَلَى رِجَالٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ صَدَّقَ اللَّهُ حَدِيثَكَ وَقَدْ انْتَحَرَ فُلَانٌ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah said: We witnessed the day of Khaybar with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said about a man who claimed to be a Muslim: 'This one is from the people of the Hellfire.' When the battle came, the man fought fiercely and was wounded. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the man you said was from the people of the Hellfire fought fiercely today and has died.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'To the Fire.' Some people nearly had doubts, but then it was said: 'He has not died, but he has severe wounds.' When night came, he could not bear the pain of his wounds, so he killed himself. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was informed of this and said: 'Allah is the Greatest! I bear witness that I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger.' Then he ordered Bilal to announce to the people that none shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and that Allah the Almighty supports this religion even through a sinful man. Abu al-Yaman narrated from Shu'ayb from al-Zuhri from Ibn al-Musayyab that Abu Hurayrah said: We witnessed Khaybar with the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Prophet said about a man among them who professed Islam: 'This one is from the people of the Hellfire.' He mentioned a similar narration, except that he said: It was hard upon some Muslim men, and they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Allah has confirmed your words, and so-and-so has stabbed himself and killed himself.'
