حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ ثَابِتَ بْنَ عِيَاضٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَيْضًا أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ هِلَالُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ يُخْبِرُ بِذَلِكَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward? He said: That you give in charity when you are healthy and miserly, fearing poverty and hoping for wealth. Do not delay until the soul reaches the throat and you say: Give so-and-so this and so-and-so that — when it already belongs to so-and-so.'
