حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ آدَمَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ الْجُمُعَةَ عَلَى مَنْ قَبْلَنَا فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهَا وَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَا فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهَا تَبَعٌ غَدًا لِلْيَهُودِ وَبَعْدَ غَدٍ لِلنَّصَارَى.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abi Adi told us, from Shu'bah, from Qatadah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah prescribed Friday for those before us, but they differed concerning it, and Allah guided us to it; so the people follow us in it, tomorrow being for the Jews and the day after for the Christians."
