حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذُكِرَتْ الْأَعْمَالُ فَقَالَ مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ فِيهِنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْعَشْرِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الْجِهَادُ قَالَ فَأَكْبَرَهُ قَالَ وَلَا الْجِهَادُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَخْرُجَ رَجُلٌ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تَكُونَ مُهْجَةُ نَفْسِهِ فِيهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Adam and Abu al-Nadr told us, they said: Zuhayr told us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhajir, from Abdullah ibn Babah, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when good deeds were mentioned, and he said: There are no days in which good deeds are more excellent than in these ten. They said: O Messenger of Allah, not even jihad? He said: Not even jihad - except for a man who goes forth with his life and his wealth in the path of Allah, and then loses all of it therein.
