Affan told us: Hammam told us: Qatadah told us, from Abu Ayyub, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The time of the noon prayer is when the sun passes its zenith, and a man's shadow is as long as his height, so long as the afternoon prayer has not come in; and the time of the afternoon prayer lasts so long as the sun has not turned yellow; and the time of the sunset prayer lasts so long as the twilight has not vanished; and the time of the night prayer is until the middle of the night; and the time of the dawn prayer is from the break of dawn so long as the sun has not risen - and when it rises, hold off, for it rises between, or with, the two horns of Satan.
