Hasan told us: Ibn Lahi'ah told us: Ibn Hubayrah told us, from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever is turned back from some need by superstitious omens has committed a form of shirk. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the atonement for that? He said: That one of them should say: O Allah, there is no good but Your good, no omen but Your omen, and no god but You.
