حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ الرَّحَبِيَّ عَنْ حِبَّانَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ يَقُولُ ارْحَمُوا تُرْحَمُوا وَاغْفِرُوا يَغْفِرْ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَيْلٌ لِأَقْمَاعِ الْقَوْلِ وَيْلٌ لِلْمُصِرِّينَ الَّذِينَ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan ibn Musa al-Ashyab told us: Hariz - that is, Ibn Uthman al-Rahabi - told us, from Hibban ibn Zayd, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on his pulpit saying: Show mercy and you will be shown mercy, and forgive and Allah will forgive you. Woe to those who merely funnel words without heeding them; woe to those who persist in what they have done while they know.
