Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Sa'd ibn Ibrahim told us, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, from Abdullah ibn Amr, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the greatest of the major sins is undutifulness to one's parents." It was said, "And what is undutifulness to one's parents?" He said, "A man curses another man's father, so [the other] curses his father; and he curses another's mother, so [the other] curses his mother."
