حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ هِلَالٍ الْهَجَرِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ الْحَكَمُ عَنْ سَيْفٍ عَنْ رُشَيْدٍ الْهَجَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ.

Aswad ibn Amir told us: Abu Isra'il informed us, from al-Hakam, from Hilal al-Hajari, who said: I said to Abdullah ibn Amr, "Tell me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is he who abandons what Allah has forbidden." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is a mistake; it is actually al-Hakam from Sayf from Rushayd al-Hajari from his father.
