Yazid told us: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade plucking out gray hair and said, "It is the light of the believer," and said, "No man goes gray in Islam except that Allah raises him a degree thereby, and a sin is erased from him thereby, and a good deed is recorded for him thereby."
