حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاحِشًا وَلَا مُتَفَحِّشًا وَكَانَ يَقُولُ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ إِنَّ خِيَارَكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated from Shaqiq, and Ibn Numayr said: al-A'mash informed us from Shaqiq from Masruq from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was neither vulgar nor obscene, and he used to say: 'The best among you are the best in character.'" Ibn Numayr said: "Indeed the best among you are the best in character."
