Waki' and Abd al-Rahman narrated from Sufyan from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim from Rayhan ibn Yazid al-Amiri from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Charity is not permissible for a rich person, nor for a physically strong and able-bodied person." Abd al-Rahman said: "strong" (qawiyy). Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi said: Sa'd did not raise it (to the Prophet), nor did his son - meaning Ibrahim ibn Sa'd.
