حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى عَلَى بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَأَلْقَاهُ وَاتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ فَقَالَ هَذَا شَرٌّ هَذَا حِلْيَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَأَلْقَاهُ فَاتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya narrated from Ibn Ajlan from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw on one of his companions a gold ring and turned away from him. So he threw it away and took an iron ring. He said: This is worse; this is the adornment of the people of the Fire. So he threw it away and took a silver ring, and he remained silent about it.
