حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ الْحَوْضِ حَوْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ بَعْدَمَا سَأَلَ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ وَالْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ وَعَائِذَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو وَرَجُلًا آخَرَ وَكَانَ يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَبْرَةَ أَنَا أُحَدِّثُكَ بِحَدِيثٍ فِيهِ شِفَاءُ هَذَا إِنَّ أَبَاكَ بَعَثَ مَعِي بِمَالٍ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَلَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو فَحَدَّثَنِي مِمَّا سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمْلَى عَلَيَّ فَكَتَبْتُ بِيَدِي فَلَمْ أَزِدْ حَرْفًا وَلَمْ أَنْقُصْ حَرْفًا حَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفُحْشَ أَوْ يُبْغِضُ الْفَاحِشَ وَالْمُتَفَحِّشَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya narrated to us: Husayn al-Mu'allim narrated, Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated from Abu Sabrah who said: Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad used to ask about the Hawd (Pool) of Muhammad (peace be upon him), and he used to deny it after having asked Abu Barzah, al-Bara ibn Azib, A'idh ibn Amr, and another man, and he kept denying it. Abu Sabrah said: I will narrate to you a hadith that will cure this matter. Your father sent me with wealth to Mu'awiyah. I met Abdullah ibn Amr, and he narrated to me from what he had heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he dictated it to me, and I wrote it with my own hand. I neither added nor subtracted a single letter. He narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Indeed Allah does not love obscenity, or He detests the obscene and the indecent.
