حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَلْ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ وَاذْكُرْ بِالْهُدَى هِدَايَتَكَ الطَّرِيقَ وَاذْكُرْ بِالسَّدَادِ تَسْدِيدَكَ السَّهْمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated from Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa (upon him be peace) that `Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: `Ask Allah, may He be exalted, for guidance and proper aim. When asking for guidance, think of directions when travelling, and when asking for proper aim, think of aiming an arrow.”
