حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَلَّتَانِ مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَدْخَلَتَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ قَالُوا وَمَا هُمَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَنْ تَحْمَدَ اللَّهَ وَتُكَبِّرَهُ وَتُسَبِّحَهُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ عَشْرًا عَشْرًا وَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ تُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ وَتُكَبِّرُهُ وَتَحْمَدُهُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَتَانِ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفَانِ وَخَمْسُ مِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ قَالُوا كَيْفَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهَا قَلِيلٌ قَالَ يَجِيءُ أَحَدَكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ حَاجَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَا يَقُولُهَا وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ فَلَا يَقُولُهَا قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Jarir narrated from Ata ibn al-Sa'ib from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: There are two qualities — whoever preserves them, they will admit him to Paradise. They are easy, yet few practice them. They asked: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: That you praise Allah, glorify Him, and declare His greatness after each prescribed prayer ten times each. And when you go to your bed, glorify Allah, declare His greatness, and praise Him a hundred times. That is two hundred and fifty on the tongue and two thousand five hundred on the Scale. Which of you commits two thousand five hundred sins in a day and night? They said: How can few practice them? He said: The devil comes to one of you during his prayer and reminds him of such and such a need, so he does not say them. And he comes to him at bedtime and puts him to sleep so he does not say them. He said: And I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) counting them on his hand.
