حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْطَعَ الزُّبَيْرَ حُضْرَ فَرَسِهِ بِأَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا ثُرَيْرٌ فَأَجْرَى الْفَرَسَ حَتَّى قَامَ ثُمَّ رَمَى بِسَوْطِهِ فَقَالَ أَعْطُوهُ حَيْثُ بَلَغَ السَّوْطُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hammad ibn Khalid al-Khayyat narrated from Abdullah — meaning al-Umari — from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (peace be upon him) granted al-Zubayr a plot of land as far as his horse could run, in a place called Thurayr. He raced the horse until it stopped, then threw his whip and said: Give him to where the whip reached.
