حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خِفْتَ الصُّبْحَ فَوَاحِدَةً إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated from Atiyyah ibn Sa'd from Ibn Umar who said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: The night prayer is prayed in pairs of two. When you fear the approach of dawn, pray one rak'ah. Indeed, Allah the Exalted is Witr (Odd) and loves what is odd.
