حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَصَنَعَ فَصَّهُ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ قَالَ فَبَيْنَا هُوَ يَخْطُبُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ صَنَعْتُ خَاتَمًا وَكُنْتُ أَلْبَسُهُ وَأَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَا أَلْبَسُهُ أَبَدًا فَنَبَذَهُ فَنَبَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took for himself a ring of gold and had its bezel set on the inside. He said: Then one day, while he was delivering a sermon, he said: I had made a ring and used to wear it with its bezel on the inside, but by Allah I shall never wear it again - and he cast it away, so the people cast away their rings.
