Ya'la and Muhammad told us, they said: Muhammad - meaning Ibn Ishaq - told us; Nafi' told me, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the sale of gharar, and said: "The people of pre-Islamic ignorance used to engage in such a sale - a man would buy with a mature she-camel, payable when the fetus of a fetus is born." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it. Muhammad ibn Ubayd said in his account: "the fetus of a fetus" - so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that.
