حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَدْرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَهُوَ فِي رَكْبٍ وَهُوَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَلْيَحْلِفْ حَالِفٌ بِاللَّهِ أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Numayr told us; Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, caught up with Umar ibn al-Khattab while he was in a caravan, swearing by his father. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers; let one who swears, swear by Allah, or else remain silent."
