Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Tufawi told us; Ayyub told us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ibn Umar, who said: I entered upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while I was wearing a lower garment that rustled as it dragged, and he said: "Who is this?" I said: "Abdullah ibn Umar." He said: "If you are indeed Abdullah, then raise your garment." So I raised my garment to the middle of my shins, and it remained his way of dress until he died.
