Kathir ibn Hisham told us, Ja'far ibn Burqan told us, al-Zuhri told us, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not right for a Muslim man who has something to bequeath to spend two nights without having his will written down with him." Abdullah said: "I have not spent a single night since I heard this without having my will written down with me."
