حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَيْفَ صَلَاةُ الْمُسَافِرِ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَتَتَّبِعُونَ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ لَا تَتَّبِعُونَ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ لَمْ أُخْبِرْكُمْ قَالَ قُلْنَا فَخَيْرُ السُّنَنِ سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَمْ يَزِدْ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yunus told us, Hammad - that is, Ibn Zayd - told us, Bishr ibn Harb told us, who said: I asked Ibn Umar, "How is the traveler's prayer, O Abu Abd al-Rahman?" He said: "As for you, if you follow the sunnah of your Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I will tell you; but if you do not follow the sunnah of your Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I will not tell you." He said: We said, "The best of sunnahs is the sunnah of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, O Abu Abd al-Rahman." He said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he left this city, would not exceed two rak'ahs until he returned to it."
