حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ نَتَلَقَّى الْحَاجَّ فَنُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَدَنَّسُوا.

Waki' told us, from Isma'il ibn Abd al-Malik, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, who said: I went out with Ibn Umar to receive the pilgrims, and we would greet them with salam before they became travel-worn.
